New video's from Sam Ward.

Here are a couple of video's Sam Ward's put together since the Festival. There's some awesome footage in there and Sam and Leo are both going massive on Nile Special.

The current video project he's working on is a special on the whitewater we're going to lose with the building of the new dam. Coming soon it features rarely seen lines and some interesting new angles. Enjoy these and stay tuned for the next episode.

New year in the Sun

It's been crazy out here. Since the Festival at the start of December it's been one long party, broken up by some trips away - some good times spent with the Kiwi crew who've just left today, and a nice bit of paddling thrown in for good measure.

Here's some photo's of our fun.

-Brenden Bayley drops into the entrance ramp on Itanda-

Brenden's been hanging out here for a while with all of team NZ, it's only the last few days I've managed to get a free day and get out on the water with them. But they've been great humour and we've been having heaps of fun on and off the water. We should have slashed the tyres on your van though.

-Will Clark firing it up at the Freestyle festival-

The Festival was the best I've seen. So many people entered and everyone was there for the good times. This year I did almost pass out in the endurance race which me and Sam won last year. I'm not really sure what happened but it was some form of heat-stroke which hit me. And we had to retire at Itanda. Big up to Ibrah - my fellow kayakthenile coach who puled it out of the bag and won the coverted $2000 top prize.

-Mr Sam Ward and Mr Will Clark-

The parties went to a whole new level and there's a lot of photo's I can't put up here. It was wild.

-Anton Imler 'Shake Face'

-The long lost boys from NZ enjoying the free beer-

-Back Flip on crutches, Oh yes!-

-AK 47 an essential item in the Karamoja-
After Christmas I went up to Sipi with some friends to check out some business opportunities. We headed out into the wilderness to explore a little known game park and the notorious Karamajong tribe. We were assured the place was now 50-60% safe by the head warden. That would probably explain the 13 rangers armed with AK 47's who accompanied us on our drives!

-Waterskiing above Bubugo-

Then on New Year's eve we took Jamie's boat for a spin and Tom Nugent was the first person ever to waterski above Superhole.
Now things have started to slow down we've got some cool missions planned. Also I'm about to squeeze 10 days of snowboarding in with the boys from Snowfix on the Extreme channel over in France.
Have a great 2008 everyone - it's going to be the best year yet!
Peace.
Will.
